A wonderful group of diverse individuals has joined our leadership team to provide the backbone for a thriving church that’s growing into a community of caring individuals. It is their mission to train and equip a movement of people who take seriously what it means to follow Jesus. Who dedicate their lives and resources to help people move from darkness to light.

NURSERY

There is a nursery available during our Sunday morning meetings for 0 to 2 year olds. The children usually have lots of time to play, as well as hearing Bible stories and doing some craft activities.

KID'S CHURCH

Our children are an important part of the church and we are honored to equip and empower the future generations, inspiring them toward a relationship with Jesus and an understanding of who he calls us to be in the world around us.

Kids Church is split into 2 groups, ages 3 years (potty-trained) through Kindergarten and 1st grade through 6th grade. In these groups they learn about Jesus in a fast, fun and energetic way. Each Sunday morning our children are involved in:

  • Child friendly Bible teaching
  • A variety of drama, object lessons and crafts
  • Games and activities to engage learning in a way that is fun

We also highlight times of worship and prayer so that children can experience the love of God and enjoy His presence.

YOUTH

We believe that God is an exciting, life-changing and transforming God, who loves to make a difference in the world through young people. We want to see each young person build friendships, encounter the love of God, be encouraged, changed and equipped to impact their world for Jesus.

THURSDAY NIGHT

OAK 61 Youth is our Thursday night youth gathering for young people aged 11-18, which meets from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. Our heart is to inspire a generation to a live of purity, honor and wholehearted pursuit of God. So we inspire youth to be strong and deeply rooted in their faith and relationships. • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God. We believe in His Virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right Hand of the Father.

           John 1:13, Matt. 1:23, John 14:30, John 2:11, Isaiah 53:4-6,

           Acts 1:1-8, 2:1-38, 8:15-19, 10:44-47, 19:1-7

  • We believe in the spiritually lost condition of mankind.

          Gen. 3, John 3:17, 18 & 36

  • We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.

          1 Peter 1:18-19

  • We believe in the sacraments of the Lord’s Supper, and baptism by immersion in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, for all believers.

          1 Cor. 11:23-26, Matt. 26:26-28, Mark 16:16, Matt. 28:19

  • We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
